Navigation Permits on Polish inland waterways for foreign vessels

Legal basis:

Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 5 December 2002 on permits for navigation for foreign vessels on Polish inland waterways. (Dz. U. of 2003, No. 4, item 39)

I Required documents (attachments required for the application)

– application form

– certified copies of documents authorizing a vessel to sail on the inland waterways issued by the country of vessel registration.

II Fees

permission:

– For one journey – 100 PLN

– For a defined time or multiple trips – 200 PLN

– For a duplicate of permission – 20 PLN

III Deadline for settlement of permission

Up to 14 days from the date of submission of the application

IV Comments

Upon arrival of a foreign ship to the country border, the manager of the vessel to which the license applies should report the readiness of the ship for inspection and follow the instructions of the director of the office concerning the place and time of its conducting. Inspection of the vessel shall take place no later than within 3 working days from the date of notification of readiness of the vessel for it to be carried out.
